Hawaii Five-O!

Fanpop.com
Have you been watching? It’s not too late to join me on Monday nights to watch this fun show. Of course, if you’re familiar with the 70’s show, you’ll find this one quite a bit different, although the characters’ names are the same.

Catch up by reading my past posts on each cast member and their character. Click on the name:

I love the scenery and the feel of the islands as I watch. Each episode has a Hawaiian name. Can’t afford to travel to Hawaii? Then join me on Monday evenings for a special mental and emotional trip to the islands!

Mahalo for visiting!

  1. Sounds like a fun show, Cheryl. I've never watched, but anything set in Hawaii must be great. :)

  2. I haven't watched the new Hawaii Five-O, but I remember viewing reruns of the old one.

Do you watch the show and catch certain settings and say, "Hey, I've been there!"? I used to live in Washington, D.C., so that's what I do (much to the annoyance of my husband) when I watch NCIS.

  4. I used to watch the original Hawaii Five-O all the time and loved it! When I lived there I met an actor who appeared on a couple shows, then later I saw him on one of the re-run episodes I was watching. I also have a friend who had a small part on the show too (the original one.)

Yes, I do see places I recognize, but the islands have really changed since I was there. Still, I LOVE watching the show, even though it's so different than the original.

  5. I keep telling The Mister we need to find a show we can enjoy together. Maybe this would be it? It needs to have some shooting and some mayhem in order to keep his attention, though. :):):)

  6. I haven't seen it yet. Monday nights are busy for me, but I've been wanting to check it out. Glad to hear you are enjoying it.

  7. I remember watching this show with my older brothers when I was young.

Everyone remembers the theme song to that show.
I may have to record it and watch an episode.

  8. It has shooting (at times) and always includes mayhem, Rhonda. Give it a try and see what you think--and what your hubby thinks. My husband and I both enjoy the show.

  9. I think you'll enjoy it, Loree! It's just the characters are named the same but are different. Danny and McGarrett are partners in the new one. Also, Kono is a girl!! I love all the characters!

  10. Hey, Susan! I actually watch it "On Demand" since we usually watch Castle on Monday nights, but we love Hawaii Five-O too.

Do you know who James Caan is? The actor that plays Danno is his son--good actor!
