DucKine???

It's football season again and I'm excited about watching the Oregon Ducks play!

I'm watching the game this afternoon while wearing my Oregon flip-flops--

My Oregon Flip-Flops!

I'm not wearing this Oregon shirt, but my "DucKine" shirt!! The Hawaiian Connection?? The Oregon quarterback is Marcus Mariota from Hawaii! "Dakine" is a phrase used in the islands to mean just about anything--kind of like our "whatcha-ma-call-it" or "thinga-ma-jig".

Did you know that the Oregon Duck mascot does push-ups to match the score every time the Ducks score? Did you know I do them with the duck??? Yup!
