Last week I introduced Marcus Mariota, the University of Oregon's quarterback--and our Hawaiian connection.
But, how do you correctly pronounce his last name?
The news media finally figured out that if they said Mario (as in the Mario video games) and added a Ta at the end, they were pronouncing it correctly!
Here's my son's shirt that makes it very clear how to pronounce our amazing #8's last name!
We sure do love our Hawaiian quarterback!!
