Selfie??

Have you ever taken a photo of yourself (A Selfie)??

My hubby and his sister are always mistaken for being Hawaiian. They aren't, but their half-Burmese heritage gives them that look--the broad shoulders and build, along with dark hair and skin.

A few weeks ago my sister-in-law posted this "selfie" on her Facebook page.

Cute, huh?? She figured since everyone thinks she's Hawaiian, this would be the perfect "selfie."

For me, I especially love the purple grass skirt and that she's playing the ukulele! Ahhh . . . yes . . . reminds me of writing my book, Ukuleles Undercover. And--someday I want to learn to play the uke! How about you? Do you play the uke or hope to play someday?

Aloha, and Mahalo for visiting!

  1. My sister has taken up the baritone uke, and I've got a banjo uke, so we're going to rock the house here, any day now! Hope it doesn't make the dog howl and the cats run for cover! Cute selfie, by the way!
