Last year I visited a number of schools (grades ranging 3rd through 7th) and I

did not charge for my presentations. (Even for the ones I did in Southern Oregon and Hawaii.) I did put out an order form for parents to order the books.

I will be doing the same thing this school year, but things will change . . .

Next year I will be charging for visits--not a lot, but there will be a fee for me to speak or teach. Once I have all the details worked out, I'll post it on my blog and on my website.

So, let your local school librarian know that they can still take advantage of my presentations without a charge this year. I chose to do this service without a fee to help get the word out and because I was a new author/speaker.

Teachers, librarians and other school officials have been very excited about my presentations, as well as all the kids! I love doing this and it is my passion to see kids reading, writing and pursuing their own dreams!
