While visiting Hawaii, my husband and I had an amazing meal out one afternoon.
He decided to order the Traditional Hawaiian Plate:
He'd never had poi before, so I had to try it out first. Now, you may have heard that poi is not good, but let me tell you that, yes, I've had sour poi that I didn't like, but this was FRESH POI, and it was wonderful with the wild boar!
I decided on one of the FRESH CATCHES which even named the fisherman and the place where he caught it:
Look at the view from where we sat--a "window seat." There were actually no windows, so we dined with an occasional bird that might fly in, barely missing our heads!
Ahhhh, yes, I do wish I was there right now. What a wonderful memory of our trip to the north shore of Maui!
Aloha, and Mahalo for visiting!
