Yaaaaaaaaaay!!!!!

In case you didn't know, that's Kimo yelling "Yaaaaaaay!!" while bopping around  and waving his arms in the air. Why is he so excited? Because the Book Release Party for Pineapples in Peril was a wonderful success on Saturday!

Here are just a sampling of some of the photos from the event. I'll have more on Thursday, with more details of all the fun times. But for now, check out all the kids making leis and bookmarks and having a great time!

See the pineapple cut-out cookies? I baked those ahead and froze them. On the Thursday before the event my son, Ian, and his girlfriend, Jasmine, came over and helped decorate them for most of the day. Ahhhh . . . family bonding for sure!

Enjoy the photos and come back on Thursday for more book release fun!

  1. We echo Kimo's Yaaaaaaaay and raise it one "woo-hoo!" Looks like it was a wicked fun (and successful!) launch party. Sorry we missed it, but we're wishing you much continued success for Pineapples in Peril and the HIDC books that follow.
