And kings?
Over the past two months I have
written about King
Kamehameha IV, Queen Emma Kaleleonalani and King Lunalilo.
Hawaii is a unique state because of
its royal history. But on this date in February, all of America celebrates and remembers
its wonderful, rich heritage filled with a diverse array of presidents.
And the really interesting thing? Our
current president, Barack Obama, was born in Hawaii.

Yes, I temporarily forgot that our President hails from Hawaii! I guess I was focusing on him being the former representative from Illinois. Hawaii has provided a long line of leaders. Happy Presidents' Day!
