| Me Speaking At Wilson |
When I visited Wilson School in Medford, I spoke at an assembly with the entire school attending. It was wonderful, but the most amazing part of the day was when they started off with The Pledge of Allegiance.
What a great way to begin the afternoon! I hadn't said the Pledge in years!
Then it gets even More Amazing when they play a video of The Star Spangled Banner sung before a Boston ice hockey game. Wow! Then the entire school sang it after the video. It was especially emotional because my visit was during the week of the Boston Marathon bombing. If you haven't seen the video, check it out--so inspiring, patriotic and emotional:

Hmmm . . . how could I speak after all that?? Well, I did, and it was a blast--the kids were great and asked perfect questions. What a day!!

There's nothing like the Star Spangled Banner sung by children that really touches my heart. What a wonderful opportunity for you AND this school. Keep up the great work!
