ALOHA is such a great word. It means three different
things, according to when and how one uses it. Aloha means Hello, Goodbye and Love.
When you read Pineapples
in Peril, you will definitely feel the spirit of aloha as you get to
know the young teen detectives, their families and their friends.
A is also for AKAMAI which is the last name of the main character, Leilani.
Kids will certainly enjoy getting to know Leilani Akamai, as well as her
brother, Kimo. Like any siblings, they have their moments of aloha as well as those moments when
they’d like to strangle each other.
