G is for Gorgeous

Oahu

Oahu

Everything in the small town where Leilani and her friends live is GORGEOUS! The skies, pineapple fields, sugar can fields, and beaches. There are hundreds of types of beautiful flowers and plants, palm trees and fruit trees. And then there’s Leilani’s favorite, surfing! She lives close to great surfing beaches and tries to surf as much as possible—even when it means getting up at O-Dark-Thirty in the morning to do it!

Near Akaka Falls on The Big Island

Join me on Mondays and Thursdays as I go through the alphabet, giving you little snippets of words from Pineapples in Peril (Book 1 of The Hawaiian Island Detective Club.) It’s the ABCs OF THE HIDC!—until the release date for Pineapples on October 2, 2012.

Aloha, and Mahalo for visiting!

    1. I really, really wish I was over there right now! Our weather in the NW has been crazy, and kinda cold. Today the sun is out--yaaaay!

Thanks for your support, Loree! Blessings and Aloha to you-- Cheryl

  2. Those pics are truly gorgeous! I can only imagine what it's like to get up at dawn and walk along the beach. To think of surfing that early in the day before everyone else is up. Beautiful :-)

  3. And it's so much easier to be up early when the sun is out, all bright and warm, huh? Thanks for visiting and for your support, Brandi! Aloha! --Cheryl

    1. It is, indeed! You're much closer to the Caribbean, so you can visit the tropics on that side of the country, huh? You ever go?

Mahalo for the visit, Jessica. Aloha! --Cheryl
