How do the kids solve the case? The physical EVIDENCE is all squished in the fields. The kids have to resort to interrogations, spying and stakeouts to catch the guilty parties. They also have to learn that sometimes the EVIDENCE doesn’t always lead them to the answers they hope to hear.
And here’s another E—the EFFECTS of the damage has a huge financial impact on the plantation as it actually takes 18 months for a pineapple to reach maturity. The kids have an important job!
Join me every Thursday as I go through the alphabet, giving you little snippets of words from Pineapples in Peril (Book 1 of The Hawaiian Island Detective Club.) It’s the ABCs OF THE HIDC!
Aloha, and Mahalo for visiting!
