Ahh, yes--the east coast has once again been hit by major snow storms. This isn't unusual for those who live there, but what about Hawaiians???
Take a look at this Weather Channel report from December 29 about a big blizzard on the Big Island of Hawaii. Mauna Kea was hit with major winter weather! Check out the report and photos:
Do you get a lot of snow where you live? We didn't get any so far this year. Even though I love my flip-flops and flip-flop weather, I also love having a few days of seeing beautiful white snowflakes falling outside my windows!

Well put on your fleece-lined flip-flops and head on over! We got over two feet of snow on Tuesday and are in the 14"+ zone for tonight/tomorrow. YAY! Who knew one could ski in Hawaii? Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteTee Hee, S & S!! I've been hearing about all the snow in the Northeast. We've had none here this year--I enjoy a few days of snow so am missing it this year. Sigh . . .
DeleteWe almost had a white Christmas...but now...rain, rain, rain.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to have a white Christmas! We went to central Oregon a few years ago over Christmas and had an amazing white Christmas. I soaked in an outdoor hot tub at the fitness center with snow falling all around. What a cool sensation!
