WOW!! It almost never snows at the beach in the Pacific Northwest, and since we don't live there, what were the chances that we'd get caught there not just once, but twice this winter??
The first time was in December when we woke up to 4 inches of snow. It was gorgeous and amazing--something you'd never see in the coastal regions of the Hawaiian Islands. Now you would see snow on Mauna Kea on the island of Maui, but never at the coast. It's a beautiful, strange thing to see snow, sand and ocean waves in the same setting.
The second time was just past week when the Portland, Oregon area was hit early with a major storm. We were planning on getting home the day before it was supposed to hit, but it came early and we ended up stranded, yet enjoying another snowfall at the coast!
If you're a regular reader of my blog, you're aware that I blog twice per week. That will be changing! I will now be Blogging on Thursdays Only! I look forward to all of you visiting every Thursday, and hope You'll Leave A Comment or Mark a Box Each Week!
Aloha, and Mahalo for visiting!
